Since 2012 Sinking Ship Visual Effects has created over 3000 effects shots and built over 40 unique models for our projects. How do we do it?

Visual Effects take a lot of work. The first step is modelling. This where the virtual model goes from a lump of digital clay to a distinct character.

Once the model is done, we make it move, also known as 'animation'. Animated movements go through many revisions to get the final actions just right.

Finally we have compositing. This where the final images from the animation team are mixed into the video that the production team shoots with the actors.
